The Waterfront Restaurant is located at 111 South Bay Boulevard. They are open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
Rod and Reel Pier
On the northern side of the island, you’ll find Rod and Reel Pier, a casual eatery that has been welcoming guests since 1947. The whole family can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and just have fun with a great meal. Whether you come for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’ll have a perfect view of the water over your delectable dish. In the morning, try a signature omelet or homemade buttermilk pancakes, or save your appetite for dinner to have Mexican grouper, fish and chips, and more.
Rod and Reel Pier has a covered deck and private dock to give you multiple options for your view. Finish your meal with a drink at the downstairs bar, then fish on the pier or walk right onto the beach. The unobstructed view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge makes for the perfect photo op!

Blue Marlin

This restaurant is inside an original 1920’s cottage, and the décor is cozy while providing the perfect nautical feel. The menu features fresh fish in dishes like blackened fish alfredo and shrimp and grits, or you can choose a land option like Junie’s Salad or the Blue Marlin Burger.
Although Blue Marlin does not have a view of the water, you won’t miss a thing from their outdoor seating in the courtyard, called “The Trap Yard.” Here, you can kick back and relax with live music on the weekends and a beautiful ambiance anytime. It’s easy to reach Blue Marlin from any of our rentals on Anna Maria Island thanks to the free trolley, and you can finish your evening by exploring the surrounding town.
Blue Marlin is located at 121 Bridge Street. Their hours are Monday through Saturday from 5-10 p.m. and Sunday from 5-9 p.m. Reservations are recommended every night, but they are required for Friday and Saturday.
