A Peaceful Family Escape

"We stayed a full week at Paradise Hideaway with our kids and it was exactly the mix of relaxed and convenient we were hoping for. The condo sits a little tucked back off the road, which we honestly loved once we settled in — it's quiet and calm, no road noise, but you're still just a short walk or quick trip from the grocery store, shops, and the beach itself. Best of both worlds. Mornings on the screened balcony were a highlight for us. We'd sit out there with coffee looking over the preserve and just watch the birds for a while before the kids were even up. In the afternoons the pool got a ton of use — it's right across from the unit, so we could send the kids over without it turning into a whole production, which as any parent knows is worth a lot on vacation. The unit itself is clean, comfortable, and laid out well for a family of four — two solid bedrooms, two full bathrooms, so nobody was waiting in line for showers. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple meals in instead of eating out every night, which we appreciated. Having the beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon already there saved us from hauling our own gear down from home, small thing but it made getting to the beach so much easier with kids in tow. Being in Holmes Beach put us close enough to walk to a few restaurants and shops, or hop on the free trolley if we didn't feel like driving, which we used more than once. Overall it felt like a genuinely relaxing week rather than a logistics project, which is rare with kids. We'd absolutely book this one again.
