History
Beach Bistro has been operating on Anna Maria Island since 1985 after being opened by Sean Murphy and his wife. It’s the restaurant that almost didn’t happen- a hurricane hit the location shortly before opening. Since then, Beach Bistro has excelled in the Florida restaurant scene. The eatery has earned several local, regional, and national awards for its food.
Murphy is a Canadian native who followed his passion to New Orleans where he perfected his love for cooking healthy and rich food. He lends much of the credit for his success to a team that works well together, including his chefs. The kitchen here is known for using experienced chefs to teach young cooks to perfect their craft and carry on bringing you delicious culinary masterpieces that you won’t soon forget.
